VCA Application Procedures
VCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, or national origin. The main interest of VCA Board is the Christian commitment of a perspective family.
Enrolment
1. All interested parents or guardians will be given an information brochure containing an outline of the school. This can be mailed from the academy or viewed on-line. An appointment or phone call can then be made to answer any further questions.
2.Parents or guardians meet the Principal and/or Administrator and view the school. At this point, parents can be given the application package and a meeting set for a personal interview with both parents.
3. The personal interview with both parents is to review church and family background. At this time, the desire of both parents and students are discussed. After mutual agreement, enrollment forms and student standard of conduct form are submitted along with a copy of the students’ birth certificate and health card information.
4. A non-refundable registration fee of $125.00 per student is due upon registration up to a maximum of $375. A date is then set for ‘Diagnostic Testing’. A payment schedule will be set up with post-dated cheques. Tuition is paid the first of the month for ten months starting the 1st of August through to and including May 1st.
Re-Enrollment
An application for re-enrollment will be sent to each family whose children are presently enrolled at VCA. This form is sent home in the spring for the following school year and is due back to the academy by May 31st. This re-affirmation of your commitment makes the transition into the next academic year more efficient for both staff and students. The completed form must be accompanied by non-refundable re-enrollment fee of $50 per family. After May 31st, the fee increases to $100 per family due with the August 1st tuition payment.
